Your Occupation Can be More Than Just “a Job”
Almost all of us have had “jobs”. We do jobs because we need a means to get by, but hopefully it is just a stepping stone on the way to greater things. Great jobs mean that employees are generally happy to be there, and share a few characteristics.
We stand on the shoulders of billions of people who worked hard to innovate and bring us to the point in time when our cultural and technological advancements give us the opportunity to choose our field of expertise and create the life we want to live.
That is part of the satisfaction I’ve created; I enjoy helping others make that transformation as pediatric dental assistants. For them, their new careers are more than just a job. What do our students go on to love about their profession after they graduate?
It’s not just a job
Most dental office environments consist of more than just the doctor. Many practices thrive within a team. So who are among the trusted team members that dutifully assist the dentist, making their job easier and more efficient?
Why, that would be the pediatric dental assistant, of course! Dental assistants are proud of the contributions they make to the team. They directly see the fruit of their labors and enjoy the sense of responsibility their career training program has granted them.
Sometimes that’s easier said than done, we know and understand. We also understand how scary changing careers can be, that’s why we put together this helpful guide. Check it out, it offers 12 hints for a high-paying career.
Don’t work to survive; choose a career and thrive.
As children, many of us wanted to be astronauts, ballerinas, or even Batman when we grew up. As we transitioned into adulthood and adopted more realistic expectations, many of us settled for unfulfilling, mediocre jobs that whittle down our souls in the day-to-day grind.
But YOU can choose a different approach right now. In only a couple of months, you can complete a career training program and enter a new field…and begin a new era of your life.
Trust me, it’s worth it!
