4 Awesome Aspects of Pediatric Dental Assisting

I just love being a pediatric dentist! It’s the best job around. And being a pediatric dental assistant is just as incredible. I wanted to share with you a few of my favorite things about the work that I do.

Smiling Kids! – I just love seeing those happy, healthy, toothy grins. The funny things they say and do just make each and every day fun.

Making Oral Health Fun – It’s really rewarding to take something that even adults sometimes see as a chore and learn creative ways to make it fun and exciting. Brushing and flossing and visiting the dentist really can be fun.

Watching Kids Grow Up – I’ve been practicing pediatric dentistry for enough years to see some of my patients get their first tooth, their permanent teeth, and even their wisdom teeth.

Empowering Parents – I love showing parents that issues like dental anxiety or fighting about brushing teeth don’t need to be realities. Sharing tips, tricks, and truths to help them in their own role as hygienists for their families is important work.
